Meet Our Team
Nicholas Cordano
Founder & CEO
Born and Humbly raised in a small town in Northern California, Nick started his first investment business at the age of 18 after reading a book that stretched his vision on Entrepreneurialism. Over the next 8 years he worked tirelessly owning and operating several companies but always searching for a business with stability and residual income. Little did he know that in one of the oldest industries around would he find a niche and a purpose in helping insurance agents reach their full potential. Nick’s vision, passion, and belief in the agencies he partners with, alongside his competence in choosing people with similar qualities to be part of Altus’ team is what makes our CEO and company unique.
Nathan Mackay
Operations Manager
Nathan was one of Nick’s producers and was brought on to manage operations and onboarding. He has a Business Administration Degree from Chico State. He also has his Networking Administration Degree. Nathan ran a successful cabling business for 10 years but decide on a career change and pursued the insurance industry. He is passionate about helping people succeed and enjoys setting people up to do so. He has a wife and four kids and enjoys the outdoors, fitness, playing music and golfing.
Alex Huber
VP of Personal Lines
Alex worked for Allstate for years. He was an office manager as well as producer at his old agency. His goal is to bring knowledge, prompt service and a personal touch to customers as well as agents. He enjoys helping people and that is why he works in insurance. He enjoys watching sports, spending time with his family and spends his free time helping out the less fortunate.
Guillermo Vergara
VP of Commercial Lines
Guillermo has experience in Business Risk Management where by using sound processes and methods can effectively implement policies and programs which can increase business’ chances of success and reduce the possibility of failure.
Guillermo specializes in General Liability, Workers Compensation, Commercial Bonds, Commercial Auto, Professional Liability and Group Health Insurance.
Guillermo earned his Master’s in Business Administration in 2007. In addition, Guillermo holds a Property & Casualty Insurance License making him a well round Business Risk Manager.
